Developed a browser-based financial simulator designed as a modern, interactive alternative to traditional cashflow-style games. The project focuses on teaching financial literacy through real-life scenarios and dynamic economic systems.
The core mechanics simulate monthly financial cycles: income, expenses, debt payments, inflation changes, and market fluctuations. Players make decisions that directly impact their financial trajectory, creating a realistic and engaging learning environment.
A key part of the project was adapting the game for international markets. Originally developed for a Russian-speaking audience, the simulator was localized and restructured for US and European users, including translation, terminology adjustments, and UX refinements aligned with regional financial contexts.
This project blends game design, education, and product thinking — creating a tool that allows users to experiment with strategies and understand financial systems in a safe, simulated environment.
